For one of our clients in the venture capital space, we are looking for a Senior Investment Manager. This is a position for professionals with sound understanding of the VC ecosystem and investing.

Key responsibilities:

• Passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and thriving in fast paced environments, with a proven track record in team management and the ability to motivate people toward achieving results
• Lead sourcing, screening, and evaluation of startup investment opportunities
• Conduct due diligence (market, financial, team, product) and support investment decision-making
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality deals
• Monitor performance of portfolio companies and support them with strategic guidance
• Collaborate with founders to identify growth opportunities, potential risks, and follow-on funding needs
• Represent the VC in meetings, demo days, and startup events
• Prepare investment memos, internal reports, and periodic portfolio updates
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requisiti:

• Strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal and networking abilities, a well-established presence in the VC ecosystem, and a natural drive to stay ahead of the curve
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, consulting, or a startup/scaleup environment
• Deep understanding of startup dynamics and investing
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Ability to evaluate business models, markets, and founding teams
• Italian native and Fluent in English, nice to have the knowledge of another European language
