Head of IT Operations and Service Management (Italy)

The company is looking for an experienced IT Service Manager to lead technology operations, governance, and vendor management in the Italian territory. This role is responsible for maintaining strong IT operational frameworks while ensuring effective governance across the technology landscape and strategic partnerships.


Posizione:

Key Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.
  • Experience in managing complex IT contracts and vendor governance.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and change management experience in complex IT environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


IT Operations Leadership

  • Responsible for IT operations and service delivery in the Italian territory.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence through the implementation of ITIL processes, KPIs, and continuous service improvement.
  • Lead incident and problem management processes for critical services and systems.
  • Oversee technology change management and release processes across the organization.
  • Responsible for all aspects of IT, from hardware in clubs to cost optimization of licenses.
  • Adaptable and capable of contributing to all areas of IT within the company.


IT Governance, Partnerships, and Vendor Management

  • Create and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
  • Develop and implement vendor governance frameworks and performance metrics.
  • Lead strategic vendor selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with vendors to discuss performance, contract adherence, and future needs.
  • Monitor and manage compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and other contractual commitments.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential vendors, including risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Act as the primary contact for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with IT suppliers and strategic partners, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives across the supplier portfolio.


Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the European and Italian Senior Leadership Team.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for the Senior Leadership Team for all escalations and IT concerns.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clubs, general managers, and club staff, understanding their business needs, challenges, and how IT can support them.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the social wellness industry or have a passion for health and well-being.

Requisiti:

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT Service Management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in strategic IT supplier management and governance of outsourced services.
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL v4, PMP, PRINCE2) and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management capabilities at all levels.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
