Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position:
The successful candidate will be cooperating on a broad variety of (i) legal matters supporting the legal needs for the functional areas directly involved in the Olympic and Paralympic Games planning and organization and (ii) legal-commercial matters (supply agreements, pre-contractual documentation and management of commercial contracts), with a continuous involvement in a variety of inter-functional matters related to the negotiation and management of commercial relations.
The individual in this role will be expected to support the legal team in all the activities that require the involvement of the team from an internal and external perspective (i.e., legal matters per se and side-by-side with the other business areas).
Responsabilities:
• Coordination of the negotiation process in the pre-contractual phase.
• Drafting of pre-contractual documentation (e.g., letter of intent, memorandum of understandings and binding offers).
• Drafting of legal opinion, memoranda and contracts (such as partnership, sponsorship, licensing and supply contracts).
• Coordination of the negotiation process in the contractual phase.
• Carrying out legal research on legal databases.
• Drafting of tutorials, presentations, training/FAQ materials for operational departments.
• Support in the contract management.

• Master’s degree in law.
• Excellent academic record will be considered a plus.
• Multi-lingual – Fluent in Italian and English (Professional knowledge of English - speaking and writing - is a MUST; French will be considered a plus).
• Not less than 4 years of working experience in the legal field.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (at least, PowerPoint and Word).
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and fast-growing environment.
• Highly collaborative and positively respondent to changes and new ideas.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Genuine interest in the sport and/or major event industry.
• Strong sense of integrity and highly confidential.
